Contractors

Job cost you can trust, progress billing without the spreadsheet.

Every purchase line, supplier bill and hour carries a cost code, so the job cost report is always current. Change orders move the budget and the contract, pay applications bill progress with retention, and RFIs and submittals stay with the project.

Problems it solves

  • Job cost assembled in spreadsheets weeks after the fact
  • Change orders approved in e-mail and lost at billing time
  • Pay applications re-typed from the schedule of values
  • Supplier bills and field hours never tagged to the job
  • Retention tracked by memory

Change orders

From RFI to approved change, on the job cost report.

An RFI records the question, the answer and whether cost or schedule is affected. The change order it leads to lists budget deltas per cost code and the contract delta, and approval updates the revised budget and contract.

Progress billing

Pay applications pre-filled from the last one.

Percent complete per schedule-of-values line, completed to date, previous billed, this period and retention: the continuation sheet is filled from the last approved application, and the approved application becomes a draft invoice.

Pay application PAYAPP-001 for PRJ-0001, submitted, period to 10/31/2026, retention 10%: completed to date $69,670.00, retention to date $6,967.00, current payment due $62,703.00
