Sales and CRM

From quote to shipped order, priced by one rule set.

Quotes become orders, orders reserve stock and ship, and every line is priced the same way in the office, in the Sales app and by the AI Companion: special price, price-list tier, company default, item base price.

app.fri-tech.com/sales/orders/SO-26-000003
Sales order SO-26-000003 for Harborview Grand Hotel, confirmed, four lines totalling $695.00, with available stock per line and the price source of each line: Base, or Contract for the Parmigiano wheel

Screens shown are the product's own demo company, Harbor Foods. Figures are demo data.

Problems it solves

  • Quotes, orders and prices kept in separate tools and re-keyed at each step
  • Reps quoting prices that do not match the customer's agreement
  • Orders taken by phone and typed again in the office
  • No single view of the pipeline and the activity behind each deal

Why it matters

What changes for your business.

One price, everywhere

The same pricing rule set prices a line in the office, in the Sales app and in the Companion, with the source shown on every line.

Quote to shipment on one record

A quote becomes an order, the order reserves stock and ships, and every document keeps its lineage.

Orders from the road, reviewed in the office

Rep orders are re-priced on arrival and held for review only when something changed.

Pipeline

Opportunities on a board, activity on every deal.

Each opportunity carries its stage and probability, so the board shows weighted value at a glance. Calls, e-mails and meetings are logged on the deal, and a won opportunity becomes a quote or an order in one click.

app.fri-tech.com/sales/opportunities/OPP-26-000001
Opportunity OPP-26-000001, Harborview banquet pantry program: stage path at Qualified, amount $18,500.00, probability 25%, weighted $4,625.00, trade show FALLFOOD26, and an activity timeline with a chef tasting due and a logged intro call

Rep orders

Orders from the road land in a review queue.

Orders sent from the Sales app are re-priced by the server when they arrive. Anything that changed price, comes from a customer on hold or over the credit limit, or from a new customer is held for review with the reason shown.

In detail

What it covers

Everything this capability does, grouped. Open it for the specifics your IT team and power users will ask about.

Open the full list

Customers and pricing

  • Customer master with billing and shipping addresses, terms, credit limit and hold, default discount, price list, default rep, tax code and currency
  • Several contacts and ship-to sites per customer, chosen on orders, invoices and shipments
  • Customer statuses such as Prospect or On hold that block quotes, orders, invoices or shipments by name
  • Special prices per customer and item, price lists per currency with quantity tiers and effective dates, spreadsheet import with per-row errors
  • Price provenance shown on every line; overriding a price needs its own permission and is audited

Quotes and orders

  • Quotes with validity dates, revisions, PDF and e-mail; conversion to an order keeps the lineage
  • Sales orders with ship-to site, customer PO, requested and promise dates, rep, branch, currency, terms, tax and line discounts, with stock availability per line
  • Release to pick from the order: stock reserved first-expiry-first, pick tasks for the handheld, one inventory posting at ship
  • Order channel recorded (office, Sales app, trade show, Companion) with review reasons such as price changed, customer on hold or over credit limit
  • Order and quote e-mail to the invoice contact from your own mail server, with send history

CRM

  • Leads captured at trade shows or in the office, with duplicate detection against existing customers
  • Opportunities with stage, probability, amount and close date; one click to a quote or an order
  • Kanban pipeline board with weighted values and an activity timeline of calls, e-mails, notes, tasks and meetings
  • Sales reps with commission percentage stored on the record, optional login, and a view limited to their own customers
  • Demand forecasts per item and period that MRP treats as demand

Good to know

Before you implement, and what this capability does not do today.

We state limits plainly so your evaluation is based on the product as it is; ask in the demo about anything on the roadmap.

Implementation and integration notes

  • Sales catalogs are company-wide; per-customer catalogs and a customer portal are not available.
  • A sales rep login sees its own customers unless the company switches on "Reps see all customers".
  • Order and quote e-mails go out through your own mail server, configured during implementation.

Current limits

  • Commission percentages are stored and shown; the product does not calculate commission statements.
  • No customer portal or online ordering, promotions, territories or per-customer catalogs; sales catalogs are company-wide tiles in the Sales app.
  • Invoicing an order directly closes its lines but does not move the order to Fulfilled; use Release to pick and ship for the full trail.

Tell us how your business works. We come back with a few times to choose from, and the demo runs in the product on your scenarios, not a slide deck.
